Job Title: Nurse Manager - Surgery Center/Pre-Admission Testing Clinic

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to oversee the Surgery Center and Pre-Admission Testing Clinic. As a working manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring effective staff management, and maintaining productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and manage staffing assignments to ensure departmental coverage and productivity.
• Oversee staff activities and participate in unit operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the unit.
• Foster a professional climate and participate in unit activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or charge nurse role within surgery or day surgery.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in Texas required. If holding a Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
